Meet the Ladies who will be leading you!
Eugenia Valencia | Key Note Speaker
Abandoned at birth to die on a windowsill in a Russian prison, Eugenia’s life began in the shadow of death. Miraculously rescued, she was placed in a state run orphanage system, where she endured a brutal, traumatic childhood of abuse, hunger, neglect and violence. Among the chaos and brutality, Eugenia became a fierce but respected gang leader, until a young girl arrives carrying a Bible, an unshakeable light and the Gospel of Salvation – all foreign to Eugenia. Eugenia eventually turns to Christ, and realizes that hope can grow in even the darkest places. Eugenia holds a Masters in Human Services Counseling and Linguistics. She is the author of a new book, “Perfectly Unloved,” and has devoted her life to helping others by working in child welfare and anti-human trafficking. She currently serves with CHARM prison ministry.
