Brian has been on staff at FBC Canyon Lake since January of 2010. After receiving his bachelor's degree in Music & English Education from Texas State University in 2011, he earned his Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2015. Brian is married to Melanie, and they have three beautiful girls, Emalyn, Everly, and Hallie Jo.
Brian has 3 Star Wars Lego helmets in his office. He insists that having a Clone Trooper, the Mandalorian, and Darth Vader on his shelf isn't just a hobby but a great theological reminder that even the most lost of souls can be saved.

Will Flora
Worship & Discipleship
Will has been on staff at FBC Canyon Lake since May 2023. He has been playing music in church since he was 13 years old, striving to give glory through his musical ability. He is in a lifelong pursuit of loving his family as Christ loves the church, lifting up his wife, Karen, and his two wonderful children, Hal and Holly.
Will is a man of clear priorities; he will honor Jesus first, love on, and brag about his family second, and then explain that the Gospel of Luke is non-negotiable but the Book of Boba Fett is "open to theological debate" (i.e., he hates it).

Peter Hill
Senior Adults
Peter has been on staff at FBC Canyon Lake since spring of 2018. He earned a bachelor's degree in Christianity and Psychology from Houston Baptist University, and later received his Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Peter has served in various churches and positions for over 30 years before coming to FBC Canyon Lake. Peter is married to his wonderful wife, Cheryl, together they have five great kids and three exciting grandchildren.
Peter is known as the "King of Dad Jokes" in the office. No one actually calls him that; he gave himself that title.

Sheldon Flint
Youth & Missions
Sheldon has been on staff since May of 2024? He has a heart to lead students from middle school through high school to Christ. And to help them become faithful leaders in the youth group and in school. He also loves to teach how they can live a life that is a reflection of Jesus through their words and actions. He is the youngest of two older brothers and one older sister, whom he loves very much.
Sheldon has a movie quote or anecdote for every situation. He insists the Gospel is very clearly presented in Nacho Libre. Unfortunately, only Jordan agrees with him. The first thing the teenagers do when Sheldon brings up a movie they've never seen is roll their eyes.

Emily Allen
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Emily has been on staff at FBC Canyon Lake since January of 2022. She has a heart for children coming to know Jesus and developing their own relationship with them. She also strives to create a volunteer culture where people feel they are valued. Emily is married to Bill Allen and they have two spunky kiddos, Calleigh and Colton.
Emily likes to spontaneously burst into song. We’re pretty sure she thinks her life is a musical. A simple request for more snacks can turn into a 3-minute "I want..." song that leaves the volunteers and kids wondering if they should just get the snacks themselves or provide the backup harmonies.

Winter Eastland
Finance
Winter joined our staff in December of 2024. After receiving her bachelor's degree in AgriBusiness from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2005, she earned a Master's Degree in Agricultural Education from Texas State University in 2007 and a Master of Accountancy Degree from Texas State University in 2016.
She will answer to Winter, Spring, Summer, or Autumn as well as Budget Betty. Can also recite all of the types of shrimp from Forrest Gump. (Do NOT get her started).

Jordan Adkins
Office and Media Manager
Jordan joined our staff in February of 2019. She received an Associate's Degree of Science in Videography in 2016 - (A degree that gave her skills she is happy to be able to utilize in her daily work). In 2018, she travelled abroad as a junior missionary for the International Mission Board. While she looks forward to more international work she is excited to do the work in front of her here in Canyon Lake.
Jordan is a pop culture/movie nerd and loves her dog, Crash Gordon Bandicoot "The Stampede". She will, usually unprompted, give you a thesis on why the Marvel movies are perfect examples of "The Hero's Journey".
